Overview

The State Code of Florida requires that all municipalities and counties within the state enforce the most current (5th edition, 2014, effective 06/30/15) Florida Building Code, including Building, Residential and Existing Building Codes, at a minimum. Franklin County, FL, further amended the state code with additional, more stringent, provisions. Franklin County, FL, municipal code § 5.5-11.
